Lyceum Kennedy offers a French and American immersion program for students from Nursery through 11th (Ardsley Campus - up until 5th grade). The school's bilingual curriculum follows the guidelines of the French Ministry of Education and of the New York State Education Department and Board of Regents. It brings together the best of the two cultures and educational systems: The structure and rigor of the French, and the flexibility and creativity of the American. The Lyceum Kennedy curriculum is partly taught in French and partly in English.
Cycle 1 (Pre-school / L'école maternelle: Nursery, Pre-school & Kindergarten) Cycle 2 (Elementary: Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades) Cycle 3 (Elementary: 3rd, 4th & 5th grades) Lyceum Kennedy's Middle School / Le collège (Grades 6-9) is the same as in France but English Language, US History and US Mathematics classes have been incorporated to enhance the richness of our program and help our students transition to the American System. Lyceum Kennedy's High School / Le lycée (Grades 10-11), students do not follow the standard French High School curriculum, but the American curriculum. Standard courses are taught in English, to prepare students for the New York State High School Regents Diploma. This curriculum includes French, English, Spanish, Mathematics, Philosophy, Global Studies, U.S. History, Living Environment, I.T. and Gym.
