Welcome to Lyceum Kennedy’s new venture with Bonjour NY  to provide a French Summer Day Camp experience. Bonjour NY was established in 2010 and they have extensive experience in providing summer camps, after school programs and tutorial services throughout New York City.

Bonjour NY French Summer Day Camp (BNY) is where children have exhilarating and memorable experiences. BNY’s camp experience has been and continues to be dedicated to promoting growth along with the enrichment of expressive and receptive language.

Campers learn and improve their French while playing and having lots of fun in stimulating and safe environments. The French language is spoken for all activities, and it is never taught in a traditional language class setting. Most of our time is spent engaging our students in outdoor activities, as well as through workshops and activities designed to educate and entertain in an immersion setting.  Lively interaction is key to their success with the learning of French. Campers also discover the Francophone culture through activities designed to give them multiple ways to flexibly express their creativity, and to develop new skills.  Activities include visual and performing arts, games, dance, music, sports, outdoor and water activities as well as local field trips and much more!

BNY is open to children from 3 to 11 years old. All children, including non-French speakers, are welcome to join.  We accommodate every level of French understanding.  Children are grouped according to their mastery of the French language and their age.  We differentiate the teaching of language acquisition based on the needs of each individual camper.

Open House Manhattan Campus – Thursday, April 18 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm

Open House Ardsley Campus – Saturday, April 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 am

Sessions and hours

Manhattan Campus

From July 1st to August 23rd

Full day:  8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. (for campers from 3 to 11 years old)
Half day:  8:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M (for campers from 3 to 5 years old)
Early drop off:  8:00 A.M. - 8:30 A.M.
Late pick up:  5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Ardsley Campus

From July 29th - August 23rd

Full day:  9:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. (for campers from 3 to 11 years old)
There is no half day session.
 
Registration is on a weekly basis.
